MKCC1 Green Concrete is a product of Mekong No1 Construction Joint Stock Company (CC1 – MeKong) developed specifically to help project meet the requirements on recycled materials of green building rating systems such as LOTUS and LEED.

MKCC1 Green Concrete is mainly suitable for the following uses: foundations, columns, beams, bored piles, diaphragm walls, pavements, etc.

CC1 – Mekong uses recycled materials like: Recycled Aggregate, Recycled water during production, Green cement such as PFA (pulverised fuel ash, also known as fly ash, which is a product produced by the burning of coal by thermal power plants) or GGBS (Ground-granulated blast-furnace slag).

CC1 – Mekong also uses a special admixture for reducing water use and reducing cement in mix design to cut CO2 emissions.

Green Features

• MKCC1 Green Concrete contains at least 10% of pre-consumer recycled content (more can be achieved based on project specifications)
• Reduce CO2 Emissions (through reduction of cement use) with around 40-50 kg of CO2 for each cubic meter of concrete
• Conservation of natural resources like sand, aggregate and water
