MacroAir fans introduce a new technology of fans, the High Volume Low Speed technology (HVLS).
HVLS fans are large ceiling fans that move a High Volume of air at a Low Speed.

Advantages of High Volume:

• Longer blades create a wider column of air
• Wider columns of air travel farther
• Deep horizontal floor jets impact all adjacent areas

Advantages of Low Speed:

• Gentle air movement rather than disruptive wind
• Nearly silent operation
• Low velocity reduces the power required to drive the fan

Green Features

• HVLS fans improve the thermal comfort of occupants by increasing air movement
• The cooling effect from the use of HVLS fans helps to increase the thermostat settings in air-conditioned spaces and save substantial amount of energy (3-5% of energy savings per degree when the set point is increased)
  
• Efficiency (volume of air displaced per watt of energy) of HVLS fans is much higher than efficiency of traditional fans
• HVLS fans also can help to mix fresh air in occupied areas and make it available in the breathing zone.
