Sikalastic®-560 (waterproofing membrane)

Product information

Sikalastic®-560 is a cold-applied, one-component waterborne liquid applied waterproofing membrane, highly elastic and UV-resistant.

Sikalastic®-560 is used for:
– Roof waterproofing solutions in both new construction and refurbishment projects.
– Roofs with many details and complex geometry when accessibility is limited.
– Cost efficient life cycle extension of failing roofs.
– Reflective coating to enhance energy efficiency by reducing cooling costs.

Green Features

  • High Solar Reflectance value equal to 0.82 which helps to reduce the thermal transfer through the roof and reduce the energy consumption for air-conditioning
  • High Solar Reflection Index (SRI) value equal to 102 which helps to limit the heat island effect
  • Sikalastic®-560 has been tested and evaluated as per SCAQMD Method 304 to calculate the VOC content. The VOC content is less than 250 g/l (less water).

Compliance & Certifications

  • Sikalastic®-560 meets the requirements of all the LOTUS credits on Heat Island Effect.
  • Sikalastic®-560 conforms on the LEED v3 IEQc 4.2 Low Emitting Materials – Paints and Coatings where it falls under the product category “Roof Coating” (VOC content requirement: < 250 g/l less water).
